I recently was invited to bring my horse for a "Medieval day" festival for a local school. I was alarmed at how much the ready made costume stuff is so I ventured to create my own.

Here are a few pics so far. I'll post the finished product in a week or so. I've never done this sort of thing, but it's been a learning experience. Shocked


This is the saddle cloth, just folded in half.


Rein guards
(I impressed myself with these pieces. I didn't intend to put so much effort into these.)


I will post some more pics as I finish this little project.

Awesome!

I have some of that tucked "taffeta" fabric. I used it as a sleeve trim and beaded the intersections with pearls. It turned our really pretty.
