wow, he's adoreable. I was actually surprised not to see any Impressive in his bloodlines....he looks JUST like one of our critters who is by the intimidator out of our docs pepper bar mare.
Love the pics!!!

Thanks Christy! No..no Impressive...just a lot of "King" and "Doc Bar" in there...
Well he will be 8 weeks old this saturday...Been raining ever since I have been trying to get pictures of him for his papers! 11 days straight!
I did get a few last week of him..He is getting so big AND he is turning into a liver chestnut just like his grandsire "King Colonel Chex". So I guess I'll wait a little longer for papers pictures till he losses more of the bright red coat...I'm gonna be expanding their running area next week to get that little butt even bigger since he'll have to run up and down a hill..
He is growing pretty even too...
His little butt
and one of him and mom in their "tent" staying out of the rain...
I'm pretty pleased with the way he is turning out

Well today I have way better pictures of my little guy...who is not so little anymore! I needed to take a few more for his papers...
From behind
from the left side
from the right side
him and his dams behind shot
from the front
He's turning into a little Gunny Schwarzenagger!

Thank you guys for your comments! Yes he does have a cabbose don't he...
Just when I thought....
"great a sorrel colt" .....then to
"great he's chestnut..won't show the dirt as bad" .....
to me now thinking
he might be a buckskin with smutty! His lower legs are turning black...his mane is now getting black hair in it..Nothing so far with the tail though.... Which I have no idea if it will keep the flaxen in it...His mom has flaxen in her mane and tail....and some black hairs...I guess he will have to be tested when spring comes around...His sire was a Dunskin with smutty....
If you google "Salty Hobby Boy" you 'll see what I mean...
wait ...heres the link
